A Focus on Dressage

Wrights Gate Farm is focused on breeding, raising and developing Iberian horses for the competitive dressage arena.

Presently, we have two of our geldings in full training with Carlos Carneiro, an FEI/USDF gold medalist classical trainer from Portugal. He is developing both geldings who are progressing nicely.  We compete at rated regional dressage shows.

We are excited about our youngsters as they are beginning to show a lot of promise as future dressage stars.  We currently have two coming yearlings, a buckskin filly by Imperador HI, and a bay colt by the Olympic stallion Rubi AR, and a coming 2 yr old buckskin colt by Rayito, available to approved homes.

Future Clinics

In 2026 we  plan offer a dressage and working equitation clinics and lessons with Carlos Carneiro originally from Portugal. Stay tuned for details.

Early Education
for the YOUNGSTERS

In 2023, Raven Cooper joined Wrights Gate to work with our youngsters and progressed to become our barn manager.

Our young horses are exposed to an early education and receive daily attention from Raven. She has a special talent for developing youngsters.

Raven has been involved with horses since she was a toddler. She attended the Downunder Horsemanship Ranch's Academy, where she received certification as a Method Ambassador. In addition, our talented young star does Mustang Makeovers and competes at eventing and occasionally enjoys fox hunting.

“I absolutely love training horses and helping people learn how to better communicate with them,” she says. “There’s nothing more rewarding than helping people have fun with their horses and achieve their goals.”
